Darlington Mediaworks is planning extensive coverage of Targa 2007 including
registration day, the official start, several car shows and lunches, coverage
of each day of competition, and the event finish and celebrations that follow.
Daily competition coverage, usually from at least two competition stages,
will be shot in locations that we know provide the maximum potential for
excitement.
Few teams have the time or ability to provide such professional quality
coverage of themselves during the heat of competition. Let Darlington Mediaworks

Copies of the photo packages can be made free of charge for personal use.
For commercial use of photo packages and video packages, please contact Darlington

custom printed with a photograph of your car and come in an attractive personalized

Team Photo Package
This package provides full resolution digital images of your team suitable
for printing plus other images capturing the spirit of the event. The images
will be made available via web download or CD. Sample images from this year's
event are available here.

Team DVD Package
You didn't get more than two seconds of fame on the Global TV special this
year? :-) Here is your chance to have your team immortalized on video!
The personalized team DVD will include a 20- to 25-minute documentary of
the Targa Newfoundland 2007 that describes the event from start to finish
focusing on the people, the places, the cars, and, of course, the event itself.
It will start with a brief introduction to the event, then briefly describes
each leg and the stages we shot, and social scenes such as lunches, the nightly
car shows, and the finishing celebrations. For each stage we shoot, we will
include video of several cars, including yours, so you can see how well you
did. The result is a short, entertaining documentary featuring your car,
among others, that family, friends, and even your fellow car nuts will really
enjoy watching.
The DVD will also feature some in-car video. Our sample
clips below, from last year's event, show the type of shots we expect
to have again this year, though locations may differ. We also expect to
be at a few more locations this year, such as the prologue, that we didn't
cover last year.
The Team DVD Package will arrive in a standard DVD case with a custom-printed
jacket featuring a photo of your car on the front. Inside you'll find a custom-printed
insert featuring a couple of photos of your car along with a scene index.
The DVD surface will be directly printed by an ink-jet printer—no glued-on
paper labels. Because of the low volumes of each package, the DVDs will be
DVD-R media burned on a computer instead of commercially-pressed DVDs.
Finally, we can also do special work such as including in-car video on the
DVD. See the Extras section below for details.

both the driver and the navigator at a discount from purchasing them separately.

The CDs for photographs will ship by regular postal mail. The Team DVDs
will ship via Xpresspost, Canada Post's expedited package delivery service.
It usually delivers within a day or two to Ontario, two or three days elsewhere
in Canada, and about five to seven days to the USA.
If you were to purchase The Works Team Package components separately, for
the photographs you'd pay $85 plus $5 for an additional CD plus $5 shipping
& handling for a total of $95. For the Team DVD package, you'd pay $210
for the preparation and one DVD plus $25 for the second DVD and case plus
$18 shipping & handling for a total of $253. Add the two together, $95
+ $253, and you have $348. Compare that to The Works Team Package of $295
plus $18 shipping & handling and you get $313. So, you're saving $35.
We also offer several special discounts:
- Multiple-car 5% Team Discount: If you entered Targa Newfoundland 2007
as a team of cars and at least two of those teams are ordering team packages,
you will receive a 5% discount on the package preparation fee only. This
may not be combined with any other offer. Your order will ship when we
have received payment from at least two members of the team. To take advantage
of this discount, please enter the name of the team and the car numbers
to the right.
- Multiple Car Combined Video Discount: If you would like to have more
than one car featured on a single team video, each car featured on the
video is eligible for a 5% discount on the package preparation fee only.
This may not be combined with any other offer. Each participating team
will receive the same team video featuring each car of the team at each
location. Orders will ship when we have received payment from all participating
teams. To take advantage of this discount, enter the car numbers to the

Extras
We can provide special work such as including your in-car video or photos
on the DVD. If it doesn't all fit on one DVD, we can put it on multiple DVDs

The Personalized Team Video clip shows the typical coverage we have of cars.
Like last year, we'll insert the footage of your car into a short documentary
so that you'll have a very entertaining video. Not only will you be
proud enough to show it to everyone, but they'll also enjoy watching it,
even if they're not car nuts like us!
The Opening Credits clip below shows the opening titles from the 2006 Team
video with short clips highlighting the various parts of the event.
The Introduction clip below briefly describes the Targa Newfoundland event
including the classes and general rules of the event so that someone who
doesn't know much about the event will be able to follow the action.
The Placentia clip shows shows the type of footage we get for each stage
we shoot and how we put it together. For this stage, many of the cars made
entertaining mistakes.
Finally. we show the champagne shower and top placings in the 2006 event.
