TN05 Party Tape

Enjoy the thrills of the week-long Targa Newfoundland as drivers and their navigators race through the streets and roads of Newfoundland. There were some beautiful displays of driving but the party tape showcases the funny, silly, or otherwise amusing things that happened. Even the best teams have their not-so-finest moments, as you’ll see. You’ll even hear the drivers and navigators describe the challenges and “pucker moments” of the race.

 

The DVD includes the extended party tape as well as the version shown at the Targa Newfoundland 2005 black-tie Gala. Special features include additional interviews and a slide show. The main feature is 20 minutes. Total running time including all special features is 60 minutes.

The party tape you saw at the Targa Newfoundland 2005 gala is available for purchase on DVD with extras described just below. We started shipping these on October 31, 2005.

The full party DVD contains:

  • The original party video as seen at the gala
  • The cleaned up party video--we didn't have time to get it just right, so this has a few minor updates
  • The extended version of the party video. This is almost twice as long as the ten-minute version we showed at the gala.
  • More of our hilarious interview of Chris Paine. We couldn't fit any more of Chris into the ten-minute party tape but there's plenty of room for more of Chris on the DVD.
